Serah bat Asher was blessed by her grandfather, Jacob, for gently breaking the news that Joseph was alive in Egypt through song. In Egypt, she was the last remaining person who knew where Joseph's bones had been hidden and told Moses so they could be retrieved during the Exodus story. She even shows up in the Talmud to help settle arguments and is regarded as a lore-keeper.
